Natural Health Articles

This is an ongoing and ever-changing list of natural health articles that will give you some good information from good resources.

We each have to take responsibility for ourselves and realize there are always two sides to just about every subject. Reading is good for the mind and helps us to learn more on any given subject, and to see other perspectives. Educating ourselves on our food choices is an important area to learn as much as possible so we know how to feed ourselves properly.

Articles on Soy

I am always interested in what the latest findings of the soybean has on our health. We know that the Asian countries have used soy in their diets for thousands of years, but keep in mind, they use only a small amount. They also do not process it the America way, which is reported up to 90% of the soy crops are genetically engineered.

Soybeans and corn are grown and fed to all of the feed animals and farmed fish. Soy protein isolates are found in most all of our processed foods including breads, cereals to salad dressings.

Supplementing cows with calcium

We have been told that we need dairy to get our calcium. But where do the cows get calcium from? The grass if they are the few of the lucky ones that gets to graze on some grass.
